Chicken Spring Lake

Here is a partial shot of Chicken Spring Lake on Thursday, June 25. It's a popular place among hikers and we saw nearly a dozen people in the area while we were passing through.

Not long after this we were asked to show our thru-hike permits by the Park Ranger. That's the only time it has happened so far.
