Follow me throughout the summer as I attempt to hike from Mexico to Canada over the course of 4 1/2 months for the benefit of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Mather Pass
Although not the highest, Mather Pass was definitely one of the most difficult passes on the PCT because of the steep grade and snow-covered tread. It is also the last point on the trail above 12,000'. The photo was taken Monday, June 29.
