Surprise!

This guy scared the crap out of me when I came up over a rise on the trail. He was sitting in the middle of the trail and the weird thing was that he had just been killed. When I moved him with my trek pole, the blood smeared. Very odd.

    Wonder what date you saw this snake, Ryan. On Tuesday, 5/5/09, one of my prayers was for your protection and included this scripture verse, printed as a prayer in a book entitled PRAYING GOD'S WILL FOR MY SON -
    Luke 10:19: "I pray that Jesus has given my son the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt him."
