Day 2

It's not yet completely dark out and I'm already in bed. I'm beat. I honestly think I was battling heat exhaustion today so am hoping to get up with the sun tomorrow to start hiking. The helicopter crash made the decision easier for me. (By the way, my prayers go out to the Marines' families.) If all goes well tomorrow, I'll be able to make it all the way to Mount Laguna where I can get rid of some the weight in my pack. But again, that is dependent on trail closures.

Only about $60 today for LAF...ugh.
